About you
We are seeking a Head of Compliance with approximately 10 years’ experience from working with regulatory issues within the financial industry, preferably with investment banking and private banking. Previous leadership experience is a plus but not a requirement. We are looking for a candidate with a strong business acumen and the ability to act as a strategic partner to senior management. You have an academic degree from a university or a business school. A Swedish law degree is preferred, but not a necessity, if you have a great track-record from working with compliance in a fast-paced financial business environment. Solid understanding of the regulatory framework (MIFID, AML/CFT, Sanctions, MAR, GDPR, SFDR/ESG), including conduct and governance rules is a must. Knowledge of and experience from private banking/wealth management, including advisory and asset management product/services and retail/consumer aspects, would be an advantage.
We are an ambitious compliance team with a can-do attitude, working together to reach our goals. We look for people that can build good relations throughout the organization without compromising the integrity and independence of the compliance function. You have a strong legal mind and can work independently, however you are not afraid to raise concerns within the organization. You have a high work ethic, as well as great communication skills. You have excellent writing skills in Swedish as well as English.
In this recruitment process we collaborate with FAIRPLACE* if you have any questions regarding the role or our offer, please contact Anna Lensmar-Friedman, [email protected], Tel. 076-000 25 55. Resumes in Swedish or English are both accepted. Last date to apply is April 28:th.
